What is the shelf life of Dave's Sweet Tooth?
Well lets put it this way, we have had stories of toffee finding its way to the back of the fridge that was there for over a year and when it was finally found it was opened and devoured! As long as the toffee does not melt and moisture does not find its way in, its shelf life is a long time. If that happens the toffee will lose its soft snap, however is still edible. We have found that white chocolate shelf life tends to be much shorter though because of the oils in the chocolate. Either way, you can leave the toffee out on the counter but for an extended shelf life, put it in the fridge or the freezer!

Why are shipping prices high? How is this calculated?
We get this question a lot, however there is always a shipping cost. It is either baked into the cost of the product or it is calculated by the weight of the product and distance it must travel. We as a company have no control over this. We are located in Michigan so West Coast locations tend to have the highest cost. The amount that you pay is the amount it calculates for us, we make no money on this. We even gave a cheap shipping option $2.02 for the 2 combos, which we actually pay close to $5 for it to ship. We want to be able to get it to everyone in the US for the best price we can even if we are losing some money on that option. We also offer free shipping on orders over $50, but if you have a coupon code, the total must still be over $50 after the code is applied. Also, combine orders with other family members or co-workers to bring your total over $50. A great way to save! We are always looking for ways to make this better.

Do we ship to Canada?
Yes, we do ship to Canada, but shipping costs are high. However, we did realize that the price of shipping does not go up drastically when comparing small orders to large orders. What we have recommended is to combine orders with other family members or co-workers and split the shipping costs. Unfortunately, there is no free shipping on orders over $50 to Canada because of the high shipping costs.

Is Dave's Sweet Tooth Gluten Free?

-
Can the toffee melt if shipped to warmer climates?
Yes toffee lovers, hate to break the news to you, but it is chocolate and will melt if left out on your porch or in your mailbox all day. We strongly recommend that you have your toffee shipped to your place of business or to someone that will be home to accept the package. DST cannot be held responsible if your package is left out in the sun. Be sure to like us on Facebook and we will send shipping updates right to your Facebook messenger so you won't miss the delivery.
-
There is a silica pack in my toffee jar or pouch, why?
The silica pack is there to prevent moisture from ruining our toffees soft crunch that makes our toffee so special. This is a food grade packet just like those in spice jars to prevent caking of the spices. Be sure to look out for it when eating your toffee but do not worry, even if it was eaten, its not harmful.

Will your toffee break my teeth?
As funny as that might sound, most toffee on the market is hard and hurts to bite or chew, but with Dave's Sweet Tooth, you will enjoy a truly mouth melting toffee with a SOFT crunch. Don't believe us, Click Here, buy some and try it for yourself. (Please be aware the coffee toffee does contain whole roasted coffee beans and when you bite one, it is slightly harder, however it is one of our fan favorites!)
